Bridging Ancient Wisdom and Modern Science

I was born into a family with a deep-rooted heritage in Chinese medicine, where I developed an innate understanding and passion for holistic healing from an early age. My journey, however, led me first to explore the realms of modern science. I studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London and contributed to cancer research at AstraZeneca, where I investigated the mechanisms of disease at a molecular level. This experience granted me a unique dual perspective—I can analyse health challenges through the lens of Western medicine while also embracing the holistic balance central to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

For 15 years, I worked as an actuary serving several world-leading financial institutions. This career honed my analytical skills and ability to assess risk with precision. It also reinforced my belief that health is our greatest asset—a realisation that ultimately guided me back to my roots and inspired me to dedicate myself fully to the practice of Chinese medicine.

I systematically studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation, and Tai Chi under renowned masters such as Dr. Li Xin. I also trained in acupuncture and energy-based bone alignment at the College d'ETC S.F.E.R.E. in France. Recognised for outstanding academic achievement, I was selected by Dr. Li Xin for advanced study and later served as a teaching assistant for his courses, deepening my mastery of classical Chinese medicine.

My practice incorporates a wide range of techniques, including acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, energy-based bone alighment, moxibustion, and Gua Sha. I tailor each treatment using the most suitable methods to achieve optimal results. A particular focus of my work is Non-Needle Acupuncture, an innovative technique that makes treatment accessible and comfortable for children and those who are sensitive or hesitant about needles. My approach is gentle yet effective, making it especially suitable for patients in fragile health or seeking a non-invasive path to wellness.

I have maintained a personal practice of meditation and Tai Chi, which continually informs my clinical work and emphasises the integration of body, mind, and spirit. I believe true health arises from balance, and it would be my honour to support you on your journey toward renewed vitality and harmony.

Professional Qualifications

Fully qualified doctor in Chinese medicine. Trained in China, and passed the TCM Physician Qualification Examination accredited by the National Health Commission of China (NHS China).

In China, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and Western medicine operate as two parallel systems. Just like Western medicine, TCM requires years of formal study and clinical training, followed by passing national-level examinations before one is licensed to practice.
